I was reading earlier about Internet marketing consultants getting a bad reputation and I started to wonder why this is. Surely there are many professions where there are good and bad. If you are reading this and are providing an excellent internet marketing services then please take a moment to think about what makes your services worthwhile. For me it’s about solving a real problem for our client’s, being honest about what they expect to achieve given there budgets. If I quote a certain figure and the client wants to pay less I tell them if the service will still reach their expectations. I don’t proceed at the lower rate, do less work and promise the original results. I think that this is the kind of SEO practitioner who is giving the rest of us internet marketing consultants a bad reputation and client’s need to be aware of this.
