Web design benefits from online video. Why? Because people love video right? For years and years people are been watching TV, going to the cinema, buying VHS and now DVDs. So why doesn’t your website contain streaming video? Or at least video that has been embedded from YouTube?
Web design scalability. If you are having a website designed right now and have had one designed recently how will it hold up in the future? If you have had a simple web design created which consists of five or so pages can a shopping cart be added later on? Has your website been designed with future scalability requirements in mind? If not, altering your website to fit your future needs may be more expensive than it could have been if it was planned properly in the first place.
Web design – brochure website. A common type of web design that customers ask for are brochure websites. But is this type of web design always the best for the customer? Just putting a brochure’s design straight onto a website…is this really a good idea? A brochure is pretty two dimensional when you think about it. Whereas web design can have much more depth. The main navigational pages should introduce the subject generally and then deeper linking pages should cover the subject more specifically.
When you think about it a brochure and a website really are too different things. Can you think of a better analogy for a simple web design than a brochure website?
